Engineering Project Manager Opportunity at AMT
Account for successful project completion within estimated budget and schedule. Develop and maintain project design and build plan. Provide technical leadership to the design team and maintain responsibility for design integrity and project scope. Direct high-end solids CAD modeling and design activities with proficiency. Understand and communicate the impact of changes to project budget and schedule in a timely manner. Control project budget including:

Ensuring effective allocation of assigned resources

Review of timesheets for engineering hour utilization and efficiency

Anticipate tasks required for project completion and identify impact on budget and schedule

Identify and document changes to project scope and requirements for additional work

Organize and manage project expenses including component purchasing, scheduling and interfacing with suppliers to assure quality procurement and fiscal responsibility to AMT and project

Establish and maintain rapport with customer to ensure effective communication. Attend meetings, prepare notes, document agreements and provide feedback to customers and attendees. Provide both internal and customer status reports and maintain project log. Provide direction and status of project objectives to AMT Management team and Engineering team.
Maintain ownership and management of assigned customer account(s). Develop relationship as primary interface with customer for all project tasks and potential sales activities. Maintain communication during and after project completion to identify additional opportunities. Provide project support to sales team. Represent AMT as a premier results-oriented consulting organization.
