Victor, New York, January 16, 2007 - Applied Mechanical Technologies, Inc. (AMT) announced today that John Erickson has joined the AMTeam as a Project Manager. John is an experienced Project Manager with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University. In his role as Project Manager at AMT, John will manage and be responsible for all aspects of projects from initial specification review to project completion. As in previous positions, John will be responsible for resource allocation, concept development, milestone completion, and the mechanical and electrical design and build of products

Prior to AMT, John worked for Eastman Kodak Company in the Research & Development and Product Development groups. John managed the development of over 20 new products, including printers, Single Use & Zoom cameras, digital players and other media products.  He has broad experience in both domestic and international product development and manufacturing.   John has also worked in plastics and manufacturing engineering.
