Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity at AMT

 

Performs complex engineering and/or design tasks to develop new customer/company products. This includes being able to lead and apply design methodologies to ensure reliable and robust designs. May be involved in the following:

  • Redesign of existing products for improved performance or cost reduction
  • Perform analysis/calculations or computer aided engineering tasks such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Function as a technical project leader with or without direct supervisory responsibility
  • Called upon to perform at the highest levels of design and engineering project assignments and must be proficient in utilization of high-end solids modeling CAD Software
  • This senior level individual is expected to manage the development of a project or projects from initial customer contact, conceptual inception through delivery   

Minimum requirements: 

  • BSME and 10+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of Solidworks, Pro-Engineer, and/or NX
